The Polycrisis Network at the University of Leeds is a collective of people in and outside academia working together to understand the interconnection of crises in the world around us. The network will look at what polycrisis is, and what living in an era of multiple overlapping crises means for how we conduct research across disciplines and methods.
Come along to the Polycrisis Network launch event to find out more about plans for network activities over the next year and to contribute your own ideas and suggestions. 'Polycrisis objects' will be on display at the launch to stimulate discussions about what polycrisis means to different network members and their research, and provide a focal point for informal networking.
You may not immediately think that the concept of polycrisis is connected to what you do, but as a professional, researcher, practitioner or activist the issue, question, problem, or cause you are working on is often related to the polycrisis condition.
Light refreshments (including non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages) will be provided during the informal networking part of the launch.
